Automotive Lock and Key Tips

• Lock needs repairing? Before removing the lock from the car try a new key cut to code. Sometimes a new key can solve the problem.
• Factory key codes are located on the drivers side door lock on most makes and models. They can also be obtained through the dealer using the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).
• Car failed rego inspection because the key comes out of the ignition while in the "on" position? A new key cut to code may fix the problem and avoid the expense of replacing the ignition.
• Car key stolen? We can simply re-key the locks and avoid the expense of new replacement locks from the dealer.
